The myth of multi-tasking

I have a post about how to quit multi-tasking. Two steps to quit!

But I have come across people who do not buy into the idea that multi-tasking is bad. They are successful. They get a lot done, tons of stuff done!

They feel they could not be as successful as they are without multi-tasking.

And to that I say: that’s great!

But if you are suffering from burnout, you’ve got to put a question mark on the addiction to multi-tasking.

What if focusing on one thing at a time allows you to be MORE efficient and you GAIN time by bringing your A-game to it?

What if avoiding multi-tasking allows you to realize more QUALITY in your activities and relationships?

Is that achieving more success than when you multi-task?

Come on! Tell us what you're thinking.
